Stacey + David :: This Day and Forever More…
Despite a few drops of rain Stacey and David’s hinterland wedding was underscored by a natural humour, cheeky fun and honest love that seems to me to sum up these guys perfectly.
Held at the Solothurn Rural Resort and Chapel their wedding was clearly about having a great time celebrating with family and friends and this fun is pretty clear when you check out the cheeky grin plastered on David’s face most of the day.
I am truly honoured when I find myself producing a wedding film for a close friends of my previous couples and it was great to see Teagan and Nathan again in the bridal party.

Natalie + Luke :: My Happily Ever After
One of the aspects of my job that I just love is being able to meet fantastic people, and very soon after be invited to the most special day of their lives… How cool is that?
When I first met Nat and Luke their energy, enthusiasm and love for each other was pretty obvious. I knew early on then, that their wedding day would be full of laughs and smiles and a perhaps even a few tears.
The personal vows written by both Nat and Luke were filled with such thought, meaning and emotion which left me with no question about how to ground their highlights story. I really hope you enjoy this couple, their story, their love and joy for each other, and a little sneak peek into their wedding day.

John + Fiona :: the love of family and friends…
Fiona and John’s relaxed November wedding was highlighted by a deep respect and love for family. The coming together of these two people on their wedding day became not only a celebration of love for the couple but a real celebration of two families, becoming one. This was no more evident than in the touching speeches delivered by family and friends, and it was with these speeches that I ground their story through this highlights film.
John and Fiona were blessed with a beautiful spring afternoon which allowed them to make the most of their stunning locations at Maroochydore beach for the photoshoot and Ebb Restaurant on the Maroochy River for their reception.
I was once again lucky enough to shoot beside the wonderful Karen Buckle, as photographer.
Aleisha + Scott :: As do I love you…
Aleisha and Scott are one of those couples that just seem so right together…
Married in The Little White Wedding Church in Maleny they chose to write their own personal vows which as you will hear in their highlights film were pretty special. It was obvious to me that Scott and Aleisha love to be themselves, from the pride of place given to Aleisha’s classic soft pink Ford Fairlane, to the boys’ rockabilly suits complete with white piping and bolo tie’s, these guys had a wedding that was unique and special to them.
Susan + Ross :: Marry Me…
When two people fall in love and decide to get married it is not only a joining of two awesome people to each other but also a joining of two families.
Susan and Ross are a fantastic couple with a beautiful little family. Throughout their day it was so clear to me the importance that these guys place on their families. From the processional through to the reception and speeches the love and respect that S + R have for both each other and their extended family was obvious.
Their beautiful wedding was held at the Pelican Waters Golf Club and the couple were blessed with beautiful weather for their ceremony as the impending storms held off just long enough (although hitting us hard during the photoshoot).
When deciding on how to anchor their story for the highlights film, it was clear to me that the heart felt and emotional words spoken by Ross’s dad during the speeches couldn’t be ignored.

Louise & Nathan :: Serendipity…
A word comes to mind when I reflect on what I now know about Louise and Nathan… Serendipity. Louise and Nathan seemed made for each other, but from the way they tell it, it was almost as if by chance that these two came together at the right time, perfect to find each other.
Their wedding day was very personal and reflected the special things to them. Places such as Coolum, where they now own their home; Noosa, a favourite day out; Bistro C Restaurant, where many enjoyable nights have been spent. Surrounded by people, both family and close friends who mean so much to them and of course their beautiful little son.
A beautiful, unique and serendipitous wedding day… thank you for inviting me to capture it for you.

Jessica + Michael :: Falling In Love a Little More Everyday…
The thing I love most about my job is that I am honored to witness one of the most special days in so many peoples lives. Each couple, on their wedding day plan for months (sometimes years) to make their wedding day unique and special to them – to create a natural experience of joy, love and friendship on one special day.
When I first met Jess and Mick to shoot their ‘Love Story’ it was clear to me that this couple were so comfortable, relaxed and sure with each other. Their love seemed effortless and strong, and for them, their wedding was sure to be uniquely theirs.
Jess and Mick’s love for each other was framed on their wedding day by their love for the ocean. They were married on Alexandra Headlands overlooking the waves, and celebrated the night away at Underwater World in Mooloolaba with close family and friends. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the horse and carriage journey through Mooloolaba Esplanade cheered on by beach goers and cafe patrons.
Enjoy their highlights clip and to see more check out Jess and Mick’s Love Story film.

Lydia + Dwayne :: Lovely Tonight…
Imagine taking all the things in your life that make you happy, the things that make you laugh and the things that make you all warm and fuzzy… now wack all those things together in a blender and whazz them up real good. Pour the mix into a tray and stick it in the oven. Done… good… what you now see before you is a mighty fine, incredibly tasty and mouthwatering serve of awesome happiness. Exactly what was plated up at the wedding of the lovely Lydia and Dwayne.
Married at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Buderim and ending their day at the elegant 4th Floor Restaurant in Mooloolaba, the smile plastered across Lydia’s face all day said it all. A wedding day that was so clearly grounded by love and laughter which seemed to pass contagiously through their friends and family to make an unforgettable night for all.

Karen + Evan :: Tropical North Queensland style… and surprise helicopters!
The stunning tropical location, the thoughtful inclusions for family and friends, the beautiful gown… the surprise helicopter to a deserted coral cay… where do I start when I describe the wedding of Karen and Evan?
From my earliest contact with these guys I knew that this wedding was going to be something special. E+K were married at the stunning Angsana Resort, Palm Cove in Tropical North Queensland. Seeing as they come from somewhat less-tropical lives living in Melbourne, the joy and relaxation evident in them both, along with their guests was so refreshing to see. Evan and Karen simply could not wait to be married!
The real surprise for Karen, however, came as two bright yellow Skysafari Helicopters came swopping down to land on the beach in front of them and Karen and Evan were whisked off to the Sandy Cay deep in the Great Barrier Reef for an unforgettable photo/video shoot!
Take a look at the highlights from their day (and keep an eye out for the look on Karen’s face as she takes off in a helicopter for the very first time!)
